Anti Semitic groups on the Left and the Right

As Tom Lehrer says, “…. everyone hates the Jews.”  Antisemitism is a cancer that pervades both the political Left as well as the political Right (but my observations have been that it generally starts on the Right and is then echoed by the Left).  Following are two lists of antisemitic organizations  listed under their political preference:

The Left

  • Jewish Voice for Peace It’s questionable as to whether this group is represented by actual Jews, or just people masquerading as Jews. The problem is that you cannot divorce Zionism from Judaism. Judaism is inherently Zionistic, with multiple traditional prayers and liturgy referencing Zion, Israel, Jerusalem etc., such as the ending prayer for the Passover Seder: “..and next year in Jerusalem.”

It has been alleged that much, if not all, of JVP’s funding originates in Quatar, which also funds Hama, Hezbollah and Al Jazeer.

  • Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)  SJP refers to a network of anti-Zionist student groups on university campuses across the U.S. SJP is also used as shorthand for National SJP or NSJP, the National Students for Justice in Palestine, which is led by a Steering Committee.

SJP and JVP frequently work together.  It is likely that much of their funding comes from the same source that JVP enjoys, which is to say Quatar.

The Right

The Right Wing is more traditionally associated with antisemitism, and it’s been my observation that 99% of antisemitic and antizionist activity originates on the right side of the spectrum and is then coopted by the Left.  Here are some notable Right Wing hate groups:

Looking at the above illustration of the political spectrum, keep in mind that antisemitism (aka, anti-Zionism) generally takes it’s position right before totalitarianism kicks in, whether it is on the Right or the Left.

These are all of the groups that I have been made aware of. Knowing how “haters gotta hate,” there are probably a lot more.
